Park View Library was dedicated in 2012,
After receiving tables, chairs and new shelves.
With the renovation to us came a revelation--
A book to be hidden,
yet checkout forbidden.
The book would be hollow,
and students would follow
Some clues to begin
and they would find there wherein
a stamp and a log book created for fun
by the Hawkins up in room two hundred and one.
The first step to take is to start at the door,
turn left and put your feet to the floor.
Continue on straight past the table and chairs,
to the point where you’ll see an alien that scares.
Find the shelf with 398.2,
fairy tales shelved all the way through.
Look up and look down until you can see
King Arthur with 21 AR points for thee.
From there count two shelves over to the right
look for a book that is dark, not bright.
Right under it see for whom the bell dings,
open it up to see many things.
Stamp your stamp, and place it back
So the next letterboxer is never off track.
We hope you’ve enjoyed a small little treat,
hidden on the library book shelves so neat.
We will miss you in the future, that is true,
but with your stamp on the page, we’ll never forget you.
